Our aim at the Volunteering Service is to make volunteering an attractive and accessible option for all UCL students. If you have a disability, we’re here to help you.
Finding volunteer roles
If you have particular access requirements, please feel free to get in touch with us and we can look for volunteer roles that match your interests, time requirements and that will also be accessible to you.
You can book in a one-to-one appointment with one of the team, or just drop us a line and we’ll take it from there.
Student-Led Volunteering
If you’ve an idea for your own community project, we may be able to help you to put it into practice. You can find out more at studentsunionucl.org/slp
Other ways of getting involved
You’ll find a full list of ways to find out about volunteering on our ‘Get Started’ pages
Monitoring
We monitor our work to see if whether we’re reaching different groups of students – you can see the latest available data on the ‘Our Impact’ pages.
in 2016/17, 7% of our student volunteers had a declared disability, compared with 6% of UCL students as a whole.
