Volunteers are expected to commit to a term of volunteering so children can build rapport with the volunteers and Flamingo Chicks' Teachers have the necessary volunteer support.
Opportunity description: 

Flamingo Chicks creates an inclusive community giving disabled children and those with illnesses such as cancer the opportunity to enjoy ballet alongside friends. We are passionate about providing an inclusive, fun and rich dance experience for children, by translating a version of ballet that is accessible to all, regardless of ability. We are looking for enthusiastic, committed Dance Volunteers to assist children during their dance classes to ensure that all children can experience the physical and wellbeing benefits of movement and dance. No previous dance experience is required.

The Vale School, Vale Primary Department, King’s Road, Haringey, London, N17 8NN. 2 classes: date and time to be agreed. Term time. Oakleigh Primary School, 280 Oakleigh Road, Whetstone, N20 0DH, Fridays, 2pm - 2:45pm. Term time. Face to face) Woodfield Secondary School, Glenwood Avenue, London, NW9 7LY, Thursdays, 9-9.45am. Term time. (Face to face or online - yet to be confirmed) St Marylebone Bridge School, 23 Third Avenue, London, W10 4RS, Tuesdays, 13.30 - 14.15, Term-time. (Face to face) Mapledown School, Claremont Road, London, NW2 1TR, Wednesdays, 1.50 - 2.20 & 2.25 - 2.55, Term-time. (Face to face) John Chilton School, Bengarth Road, Northolt, UB5 5LD. Term-time. What measures have you put in place to ensure volunteers’ safety during COVID-19?: 
Some classes have moved on-line so Volunteers are able to work remotely. Where Volunteering in person we ask Volunteers to wear face masks/visors and wherever possible to maintain a 2m distance.
